Day 22: Burgundy

Good evening! Here is Day 22: Burgundy for you all!
O.P.I - Skyfall and O.P.I - My Boyfriend Scales Walls
I don't really like burgundy, it was the colour of my school uniform, blergh! So I tried to keep this mani kind of simple.
Also, ANOTHER BAD THING! Last night I broke a polish bottle (which was hard enough to cope with in itself) and whilst cleaning out another bottle to transfer the polish into, I spilt acetone all over my MacBook keyboard! My spacebar keeps sticking and it sucks ass :( nooo!

Hope you all had better days than I did!
Lots of love,

MORE BLUE! Day 19: Polka Dots

Hi all! I'm falling sooo behind with my blogging at the moment, really sorry everyone! I've got a lovely manicure to show you tonight. It's quite possibly one of my favourite mani's I've ever done!

This was for Day 19 of Californails' January Nail Art Challenge with the prompt being Polka Dots! Woohoo, everyone loves a dotticure.
The polishes I used for this manicure were; O.P.I - My Boyfriend Scales Walls, A-England- Tristam, Miss Sporty - Pop Fiction and a Barry M polish which the name I'm unsure of.

I had to share this... My mum said the Christmas tree is still too nice to get rid of yet and has decorated it winter themed! She's too cute!

Night all!

Day 12: Navy Blue

Good morning afternoon! How's everyone doing today? Hope you all had a good weekend!
Catching up with my #nailartjan posts today! And the first I have to show you all is Day 13: Navy Blue. I feel like I've done soooo many blue manicures recently, I really wasn't wanting to do another! I don't stamp often and when I do it turns out pretty crappy, but I dont think this attempt wasn't tooo bad!
Stampin' 'ell!

Revlon - Scandalous

Hello lovelies!
So in my last post I spoke about the amazingness that is Revlon - Scandalous! Needless to say, I had to swatch it and make it its very own post. This is two coats over Barry M - Black.
Mmmmmm tasty!

ANIMAL

Catch up time gang!

Californails #NailArtJan, Day 10 - Animal Print!
This is the first time I've ever done leopard print, I think it kind of worked right? The colours not so much… I bought Revlon - Scandalous today and layered it over Barry M - Black. I love it so much that I really didn't want to take it off! So I just tried to find some colours that could go with it and make a leopard print… I'm thinking fail, ha!

Also, something I've just realised - I did a zebra print mani on the 9th, which I could have actually used for my Day 10 nails! Duh! Why, oh, why did you ruin your beautiful Scandalous nails Ariana? Blarghhh!

These pictures were after two days of wear so they're pretty...worn. I used China Glaze - Kalahari Kiss for the base and O.P.I - Uh-Oh Roll Down The Window for the stripes! Safari!

Goodnight everyone,
Ariana xo

My 21st/Day 7 - Pastel!

Hello there everybody! How are you all? Well, I hope!

So, last week I was SUUUPER busy! It was the week of my 21st birthday and there was so many celebrations flying around all over the place, I've literally had zero amount of time to post! Before I get to the actual subject of this post (nails, of course) I just want to share with everyone a brief overview BIRTHDAY WEEK - be prepared, it's probably pretty boring, so skip over if you want!

Well, the week started off pretty slow. I worked loads at the start to get my hours out of the way, went for a couple of meals, the usual prep! But then, on the 11th (my actual birthday) I went to the most AMAZING place on earth. Yes, you guessed it…HARRY POTTER WORLD! All I can say is, this was literally the best day of my whole entire life! If you ever get a chance, GO! Your life will never ever be the same again! Although it's places like that which make me sad I'm just a muggle and have to live in the real world :( oh well! Onto Saturday…I was in bed all day with tonsillitis, nooo!! But as it was birthday week, I went out into Manchester and had lots of fun with my friends! It was a brilliant night and I didn't break a nail, win win! Sunday consisted of me whining and sleeping as apparently tonsillitis and hangovers don't mix, who would have thought it? I've still got a few little 21st celebs to come yet, which is exciting :) could end up birthday month!

Anywayyyy, nail time! So, I did this manicure like, a week ago? And it was for Californails Nail Art January Challenge, Day 7 being pastel! I LOVED this manicure! It was another gradient just like Day 1, but who cares? It was super pretty and I got sooo many compliments at work!
I used Lime Crime - Once In A Blue Mousse and Lavindairy for the gradient topped with a layer of China Glaze - Fairy Dust. Amazeballs!

Hope you all enjoyed my post and didn't mind me waffling on about my birthday too much, haha. Thanks for reading :)

Ombré

Hi everyone! Second post in one day, starting the year as I mean to go on!
So, January is the month of Californails January Nail Art Challenge! I'm actually going to finish it this month, that is a promise.
So, day 1: Ombré
Now, this is technically a gradient manicure, but it's what I wanted to do! Ooops... I used Barry M - Mushroom and Miss Sporty - Pop Fiction for this ombre gradient, both polishes I bought yesterday after my third day back at work to cheer myself up! Also, I'm conveniently posing with my two favourite cuticle products!

Happy New Year!

Hey guys! Hope you all had a really fab New Year celebration, I can not actually believe it's already 2013! How fast has 2012 gone?! Sorry I've been so sparse with my posts recently, Christmas and New Year have been sooo busy, I've been ridiculously tired since! I went away for a few days over New Year with some friends, my nails suffered to say the least! I broke two :( oh well!! As soon as I got home though they were tended to and I loved the manicure I did. It lasted a whole three days, which is actually unheard of for me! All the pictures I took were actually after the three days, so I'm sorry for the tip wear and ridiculously dry cuticles!
The base colour I used was Lime Crime - Peaches Cream with stripes of China Glaze - Papaya Punch and O.P.I - Call Me Gwen-Ever. The colours didn't come out fabulously in the pictures, especially Peaches Cream which is actually a lot more vibrant and fluorescent in person!

I'm gonna (hopefully) do a late post of my favourite polishes of 2012 soon, it'll be really fun!

Speak soon everyone :)
